This sunday we’re watching & discussing the short film It’s Still Today Here – a speculative fiction film about about someone who has to go on the run. This is following up reading a text from some of the people involved in the anarchist safe house network in the territories dominated by the indonesian state.

This sunday we’re continuing on with reading texts coming out of the ongoing insurrection in the territories dominated by the Indonesian state – specifically we’re reading about the safe house network anarchists set up!

Next sunday, 9/14, we’re beginning to read a few texts coming out of the ongoing insurrection in Indonesia.

Some of the texts are:

• Abolish Parliment!
• Archipelago of Fire
• Voice from the Uprising in Indonesia
• Security Culture and Safe Houses

Along with this, there are two statements calling for international solidarity – one from Palang Hitam / Anarchist Black Cross Indonesia and from Federasi Informal Anarkis (Informal Anarchist Federation)

After that we will be watching and discussing some of the footage of the insurrection in Indonesia.

Finally, building off the reading about the safe house network developed by anarchists in the territories dominated by the Indonesian state we will bring it to our own context by watching the short speculative fiction film It’s Still Today Here about someone who has to go underground and follow that with a discussion about clandestinity and building the infrastructure to support it.

Last time around we finished reading Subterranean Constellations which was the last thing on our list, so this Sunday we’re choosing what we’re doing for the next couple of weeks, as well as going over some coordination stuff for the study circle for individuals who might be interested!
